Hello Peeps! Is the month of April almost over already? You have got to be kidding me. I looked back at our last post and it was at the beginning of the month and that is way too long. I have been MIA in the social media department. But now we are back and ready to share more great information and stories with you about our crazy dogs, our travel plans and other hot topics. All fresh off the press. So what have we missed? An earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown in Japan, a week long business trip to the mid west, many miles of dog walking and a crazy story from Iran! And that is just the beginning. Oh yeah. And one sick Chloe keeping us up at night.
It appears that Chloe is now having some weird stomach reaction that we can only tie to her food. Not sure why since Blue Buffalo is the bomb. No pun intended people! Maybe she just got a bug or something. We have slowly been switching her back to her old food from over a year ago with Science Diet. They make some pretty good stuff too. So far so good. I am happy to report that she is sleeping through the night, gaining weight and generally more like herself again after being sick for a couple weeks. She is even getting brave enough to stand up to the cat again. Or should I say, lay down in his morning sun spot. Couldn’t stop Emelio though and he snuggled in nicely to warm up the old bones.
Oh yeah. Our dogs are ready and anxious for another dogdazed vacation. I enjoyed my trip to the mid west so much that I think that will be our destination. I started doing a lot of research on dog friendly hotels, cabins and rentals and we are planning for a June trip. I will keep you posted weekly! Stay tuned.
Last thing. I have totally lost track of all the miles we have walked since the last update. We were at 124.5. So I will just pick it back up from yesterday and keep the total going. We did 3 miles yesterday and 3 miles today. That gets us to 130.5 and rolling along. I am glad to be back!
