Caring For Your Aging Pet

As we age we get more aches and pains and usually need to see the doctor for different reasons than we did when we were younger.  The tests we get and treatment we receive most likely differs a bit also.

Since our pets can’t tell us how they feel or what may be bothering them, it’s important to keep a close eye on them so we’re aware of changes in behavior, eating habits, even changes in their skin and coat.  Another key is regular checkups.  The following article gives advice on what we can do to help our four-legged friends, including what types of tests will benefit them as they age.  There’s even a “Pet Age Gauge” that shows how old your dog (according to their weight) or cat is  in human years.  Take a look, there may be something mentioned that you weren’t aware of.
