I read this very interesting article today online about Moscow’s plans to handle stray dogs. While the outcome is good for the dogs, the proposal seemed kinda weird to me. Sounds like prison camps. Check out the AP article here. What is even better is the picture of the dog in the subway train snoozing away. This story shows just how smart dogs really are.
The weekend flew by and I didn’t get a second, it seemed like, to post our walking updates. We only got 2 miles in a Saturday. On Sunday we did 1 mile in the morning and then 2 more that evening. Monday was another 3 miles and today was only a mile. We got soaked today!! It was barely drizzling when we left the house. But by the time we got about a half mile into the walk, it started pouring down on us. We made a fast retreat back to the house where, of course, the dogs shook off the water in the living room! There was water everywhere and I got in trouble. 🙂 That brings us up to 50 miles and counting.
