Three days off goes by far too fast! We had a blast this weekend with beautiful weather, great friends and outdoors time. With all three days being sunny and right at 80 degrees, we spent a lot of time outside. Saturday we woke up early and took a 4 mile walk up to one of the main roads and back. I brought my camera, hoping to get some cool pictures of wildlife, but didn’t get any good shots. Came back and did some yard work and some spring cleaning outside now that everything is green again. We went out for a nice dinner at Cantina Laredo up at the mall. Sunday was more of the same with a short 1 mile walk in the morning around the hood and another 1 mile in the evening. We spent most of the day outside and the dogs enjoyed the sun. Then we had some friends over for XBox Kinect games, which is always hilarious!
Chloe took some time out to get a dirt bath and then sat around watching birds and the wind all day.
Chanel took the time to check out the perimeter of the fence for any needed repairs and then settled in for some wood work!
Today, I had an early tee time for golf out at Northdale and the dogs didn’t get a morning walk. I know, I know, such a bad guy. We made up for it in the evening with a 3 mile walk up to the school and then around our hood. So total for the last three days was 9 miles and a total so far for February of 26 miles. They are adding up quick.
